About Our Nursery

Family owned & operated since 1976 , Hickory Creek Nursery is one of the largest Retail Nurseries in Northeast Florida. Lyle Sim , founder and Troy Sim, a Horticultural graduate of Lake City College in 1984 know that different homeowners have varying landscaping needs.
With that in mind, they have developed a landscaping business in conjunction with a full service nursery, spanning more than 10 acres.

An outstanding job on our Landscaping Project

I worked very closely with Troy and Jessica to get the permitting process completed and found them to be extremely helpful and responsive in dealing with the City of Atlantic Beach. Jessica was also very accommodating and knowledgeable in helping us pick out our plantings. Troy laid out an excellent landscape plan with our plant selections and came out to our house to walk through it with me. The retaining wall turned out great and the plantings look awesome.
