After many years fighting with watering restrictions, mole crickets, chinch bugs and an aging irrigation system our lawn looked bad. So bad it could barely qualify as bad.

We contacted Hickory Creek Nursery, who evaluated the disaster, drew up new landscaping plans and a new irrigation system.

Four aging and bad looking river birches went away, the lawn was smoothed, topsoil added, and the crew went straight to work.

We now have a great lawn, landscaping and an irrigation system which does what it should.

We now have neighbors, strangers and passer-bys who all compliment the look and effect of this work. The change is amazing, and makes the entire house/lot look new, fresh and appealing.

The layout is superb, and the crew obviously is proud of what they do and how it is done. We are thoroughly impressed, and if we have any regret it would be over not having this done some years ago.

In April 2011 we hired Hickory Creek Nursery to design, landscape and install lighting in our front yard. The result was so spectacular we asked Troy in June to do the same with our backyard, where we had just built a pool, and to keep the expense within my budget. Imagine our surprise when in a matter of hours my backyard was transformed into a vibrant, flowing landscape using only 2 pallets of grass and mulch! An island was created among my shady oak trees so I would not have to worry about growing grass there. Various bushes will provide color year round. Pathway lamps and spot lights transform my backyard into an evening respite where we enjoy time by the pool. We can highly recommend the service, attention to detail and regard for staying within our budget that Troy and his team afforded us.
